AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence will appear in "Dumb and Dumber To" after all. A representative for the actress and the movie's directors confirmed that she did not ask for her cameo in the comedy movie to be deleted.
It was the case of is she or is she not going to pop up in "Dumb and Dumber To". THR heard from a source that Lawrence indeed shot a cameo last year in Atlanta, Georgia where she was filming "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1". However, she had the contractual freedom to nix the scene if she did not approve it. And she reportedly did terminate the cameo.
Speaking to students at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television, one of the "Dumb" directors Bobby Farrelly said, "There was a rumor about that, because when we were shooting 'Dumb and Dumber To' they were also shooting 'The Hunger Games' down in Atlanta. She was a big 'Dumb and Dumber' fan, so one night we all went out to dinner."
Lawrence's rep and the Farrelly brothers later stepped up to clear the air, saying moviegoers would see her on the big screen. She reportedly played the younger version of Kathleen Turner's character. Fans of Lawrence can find out whether or not she eventually made the cut when the film hits theaters November 14.
