AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres is preparing an interior design book to be released next year. The book, called "Home", will feature many tips from the host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" about creating dream homes. Grand Central Life & Style announced on Monday, November 10 that the book would hit the stores in the fall of 2015.
"A lot of people don't know that I have a passion for interior design, so I'm excited to be releasing this book," DeGeneres said in a statement. "I'm inspired by art and nature and architecture. Now everybody can see how things come together inside my home and in some of my favorite places. It's called 'Home' because you know what they say, 'Home is where the books are about interior design.' "
DeGeneres has bought and renovated 12 properties. Some of her works were featured in magazines. The chat show host is now gearing up for the premiere of her new show "Ellen's Design Challenge" on HGTV in January after launching her line of home goods on QVC.
This won't be DeGeneres' first experience writing books. She previously penned three books on life experience.
