Movie

Director Joss Whedon and producer Kevin Feige are excited about filming the movie in different locations around the world and new characters including Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

AceShowbiz - Another sneak peek at "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is attached to home video release of "Guardians of the Galaxy". The new snippet has now landed online, giving behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Joss Whedon-directed movie.

In the video, producer Kevin Feige introduces the movie, "As we enter 'Age of Ultron', the world is a very, very different place where we meet the Avengers than where we left them at the end of the first one." He adds, "We will be shooting on more distant locations than we ever have on any of our other films."

Whedon gushes, "This is a movie that's going to take people on every kind of a journey. It's exponentially more interesting." Executive producer Jeremy Latcham teases that the film will feature what fans have wanted to see. "And it was Hulk and Hulkbuster," he says, as the video shows a shot of the Hulk and Hulkbuster showdown.

Whedon is additionally excited about new characters like Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Johnson), who bring new aspects that fans have never seen before. "Her manipulation of objects and his super speed are not things that we've seen in the Marvel Universe," the helmer says of Scarlet Witch.

As for the main villain, Ultron, Feige says, "Ultron is unbelievably powerful and unbelievably driven. When you have that combination of traits in a body that you can't kill, that you can't stop, it gets to be very scary."

Footage taken from the set also teases some action scenes that include cars flipping, Scarlet Witch using her power, and some explosions.

In "The Avengers" sequel, Earth's Mightiest Heroes are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Idris Elba recently revealed that his character Heimdall and Tom Hiddleston's Loki would appear in "Age of Ultron". The movie is scheduled to hit theaters across the nation on May 1, 2015.
