The Death Row Records founder, who is accused of stealing a photographer's camera on September 5 alongside comedian Katt Williams, is released after posting a $500,000 bail.

AceShowbiz - Suge Knight has pleaded not guilty to stealing a photographer's camera. The founder of Death Row Records appeared in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 5 to deliver his not guilty plea and was then released under $500,000 bail, said a Los Angeles County district attorney's spokesperson.

Knight and comedian Katt Williams were arrested on October 29 and were charged with one count of robbery for allegedly taking photographer Leslie Redden's camera outside a studio in Beverly Hills, California on September 5. Knight is facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted because he previously was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon. Williams, meanwhile, is facing up to seven years in jail.

The court appearance took place a few days after Knight was hospitalized. According to Las Vegas Review Journal, Knight fainted in his prison cell in Las Vegas. He was transported to University Medical Center where doctors found blood clot near his lung. Knight also suffered some bruises on his head and neck after the fall.

"Mr. Knight honors his commitments and shows up when he's supposed to show up no matter how difficult the circumstances are," his attorney James Blatt told Detroit Free Press when asked about Knight's health. The rap mogul and Williams are expected to be arraigned in the case on December 24.
