AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj keeps building the anticipation of her new album, "The Pinkprint". After teasing the highly-anticipated record with a trailer, the raptress took to Instagram on Sunday night, November 2 to unveil its cover art.
After #ThePinkPrintAlbumCover trended on Twitter, Minaj posted the simple artwork that was designed by Kanye West's DONDA. "This is actually the #Deluxe cover. I'll post the standard cover at a later date. #ThePinkprintAlbumCover," she captioned the image. "Thank u to the Kanye West team."
"The Pinkprint" was initially planned to arrive on November 24. Last week, the Young Money artist announced she had delayed it until December 15.
The album has spawned singles "Only", "Pills N Potions" and "Anaconda". The latter, which samples Sir Mix-a-Lot's 1992 hit "Baby's Got Back", peaked at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100. Its steamy music video broke Vevo's record for the most-viewed clip in 24 hours.
Minaj is now gearing up to host the 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards. She'll also perform at the annual event that's airing live from Glasgow, Scotland on November 9.
