The actress, who has been receiving treatment at a psychiatric facility in Los Angeles since earlier this month, is seen stepping out at the Sunset Strip.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes has been released from a psychiatric facility after being treated for about two weeks. On Thursday night, October 30, the "Easy A" actress was seen walking around the Sunset Strip, TMZ reports. A photo obtained by the site shows Bynes wearing a black coat, matching pants, white sneakers and a pair of shades while conversing on the phone.

A source close to the situation says Bynes asked a hearing officer to be released on Thursday and was allowed to go. The 28-year-old star reportedly has been taking medicine regularly and she sounds lucid. The hearing officer apparently thinks that Bynes is now stable and that she cannot be held involuntarily.

The report additionally says that Bynes was trying to find a room to stay during the Thursday night outing, but she was turned down in several places. She allegedly was also seen having a dinner by herself, ordering fried chicken, salmon and salads. Bynes reportedly told a staffer at the restaurant that she was a bit self conscious because she had a bandage on her face due to a treatment.

Bynes was admitted to the hospital by her parents after she showed weird behavior following an arrest earlier this month. A previous report suggested she was back under conservatorship of her parents.
