AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" isn't coming out this month. YMCMB President Mac Maine announced the delay on Monday, October 27, just a day before the highly-anticipated album was originally slated to hit shelves.
"Tha Carter V" is the fifth installment of Wayne's "Carter" series. In June, he told MTV the album was already finsihed. Its release date and cover art were later unveiled in August. However, no other details including its official tracklist have been announced until now.
There's still no word on when the LP will finally arrive. It has so far been preceded by "Krazy", "Believe Me" and "Grindin' ". The latter two are collaborations with Drake, with whom Weezy co-headlined the "Drake Vs. Lil Wayne" tour earlier this year.
In other Wayne-related news, the Young Money artist will make a guest appearance on Nicki Minaj's new single "Only". Set to drop on Tuesday, the track will also feature Drake and Chris Brown.
