'Fast and Furious 7' Gets New Title and Trailer Launch Event

Universal Studios announced that the movie would have a launch event on November 1 in Los Angeles to debut the trailer.

AceShowbiz - Universal Studios is all ready to launch its seventh "Fast and Furious" film. The studio announced that the latest installment had been retitled "Furious 7" and that the first trailer would be premiered on November 1 at noon PT.

The trailer debut will be part of "The Road to Furious 7: Trailer Launch Event at Universal Studios" which is held in Los Angeles. The event will be live streamed exclusively on the "Fast & Furious" official Facebook page and E! Network. Fans are invited to attend the event by purchasing the ticket which is available on October 27 on the official "Fast and Furious" social pages.

"Because of our fans, our saga has grown bigger and better with every chapter," an announcement on the movie's official Facebook page read. "We have set out to make the very best movie yet. We are excited to continue our journey together."

Meanwhile, the pic's official YouTube page posted two new videos. One titled "The Road to Furious 7" contains footage from the franchise's previous films while the other one titled "7 Seconds of 7" is a short behind-the-scene video featuring the cast.

"Furious 7" will hit U.S. theaters April 3, 2015 after being pushed back a year due to Paul Walker's untimely death. The late actor's two brothers helped the filmmakers complete the film as his stand-ins while writer Chris Morgan made alterations to the script to retire Walker's character.
