The 'Reading Rainbow' host reads a children's book filled with expletive as a part of a charity drive benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals.

AceShowbiz - LeVar Burton reads a children's book filled with profanity for good cause. The "Star Trek: The Next Generation" actor and "Reading Rainbow" host took part in a 24-hour Extra Life stream for the podcast Rooster Teeth who raised a total of $442,389 for Children's Miracle Network hospitals with the event.
Sitting in front of a small group of people, Burton read the book "Go the F**k to Sleep" by Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Ricardo Cortes. "You're cozy and warm in bed, my dear, please go the f**k to sleep," he says in an NSFW video released over the weekend.
The original audiobook, which centers on the author's frustration over his child who refuses to go to sleep, was released in 2011. Samuel L. Jackson lends his voice for the book.
"Nice job with GO THE F**K TO SLEEP. I'd love to send you the sequel, YOU HAVE TO F**KING EAT, dropping Nov. 12," Mansbach tweeted to Burton. "Thank you! I'd like that very much. In fact, I'll send you a copy of 'The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm' in return!" the actor replied.
