The 'Extant' actress is launching a lingerie collection by French brand Scandale Paris in select Target stores and Target.com.

AceShowbiz - Halle Berry is launching a lingerie collection. The "Extant" actress announced on Thursday, October 23 that she would be launching a French brand Scandale Paris in select Target stores and Target.com on October 27. The line will have 10 pieces with bras sold at $16 and $18 and underwear for $7.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the Storm depicter in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" revealed that she got interested in the business following her trips in Paris. "I'm married to a French man [Olivier Martinez], so I spend a lot of my down time in Paris just walking around," she explained. "I came across this brand in a very small display in one of my favorite stores and I just thought, 'Wow, we don't have anything quite like this in America.' "
The mother of two also shared that she probably would model the items in the near future. "Maybe one day. When we were going into production I was pregnant. Down the road, when I get my mojo back, it's possible that I might model it from time to time," said Berry who admitted that she loved black and leopard print underwear.
In a separate chat with InStyle, Berry shared that for her comfortable bras are really important for women. "I really need a good bra," she said. "Comfort is important to me because I wear a bra around the clock. Bras to me are key. For a girl like me, a good bra is everything. And I like to dress up with lacy underwear. I wear stockings. I play. You know we do [laughs]. But my favorite is having a good bra."
