Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss reveal that in the upcoming installment they will break a rule they set at the beginning of the show.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" showrunners set a rule but plan to break it in the next season. During a Q&A with film students in Spain, David Benioff and Dan Weiss revealed that the upcoming season 5 would have "flashbacks" that they had tried to avoid since the first season.

"Making the first season, we set a rule: No prophecies, dreams, or flashbacks," one of the producers said as translated from a Spanish website. "We already failed the first two, and this season we broke the third. So yes, this season will finally have flashbacks."

Entertainment Weekly says a flashback scene will open the first episode of the fifth season, but that could change in editing.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is currently in production for a 2015 premiere. The show has been filming at the historic Alcazar Palace in Seville since last week and will next move to Osuna.

Jonathan Pryce, Alexander Siddig and Nell Tiger Free are added to the cast to play the High Sparrow, Doran Martell and Myrcella Baratheon respectively. Many other new faces are going to be introduced in the season.
