The former 'Tonight Show' host will be back on TV with a show tentatively titled 'Jay Leno's Garage' in 2015.

AceShowbiz - It's official; Jay Leno is getting his new TV show after he handed over the "Tonight Show" throne to Jimmy Fallon earlier this year. Confirming last week's report that the comedian was close to getting a new show on CNBC, the network has now announced a new series tentatively called "Jay Leno's Garage" which will be hosted by Leno.

Set to premiere in 2015, the weekly, hour-long primetime series will be based on Leno's Emmy Award-winning web series of the same title and highlight his "passion for all things automotive."

"This show will be about anything that rolls, explodes and makes noise," Leno says in a statement. "We hope to highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century."

Talking about his new show on "Today", the 64-year-old said on Wednesday morning, October 15, "I think we'll have some humor in it. We'll have some occasional celebrities with their cars, that kind of thing."

Leno has toured the country with his stand-up act since bidding farewell to "Tonight Show" in February this year. The CNBC series will mark his return to television.
