A new report suggests that the doctors treating the troubled actress consider placing her under the LPS Hold.

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes reportedly may be placed under a type of conservatorship which is called the LPS Hold. A new report by TMZ suggests that doctors who are treating Bynes are planning to put her under the hold, in which they can keep her confined and medicated for up to 1 year.

According to the site, a judge may grant the LPS Hold on the behest of the doctors if the person is "gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder or impairment by chronic alcoholism." The patients may be treated at a hospital or a facility so that the doctors can put them on medications against their will. The report additionally suggests that her doctors will request a judge to put her under the LPS Hold within a week after she is fully diagnosed.

The "Easy A" star's parents reportedly admitted her into a mental facility last week after orchestrating a plan and tricked her into flying back to L.A. Her involuntary hold then apparently was extended for two more weeks.

Last year, Bynes received treatment after she showed erratic behavior which ended up with her allegedly trying to set fire in a stranger's driveway. Recently, the former child actress also showed bizarre behavior after being arrested for DUI in late September.
