The new clip, which was released on iTunes on Tuesday, October 14, looks very similar to Apple's 'Echoes' commercial that was debuted last month.

AceShowbiz - U2 debuted a new music video for their song "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)". Hitting iTunes on Tuesday, October 14, the clip looks very similar to the "Echoes" commercial that was debuted by Apple last month.

In the four-minute visuals, the Irish rockers are featured performing the song in front of colorful backgrounds. The performance footage intersperses with classic video of the late Joey Ramone, the frontman of the Ramones.

"The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)" appears on U2's new album, "Songs of Innocence", that's available everywhere now. Last month, millions of non U2 fans got angry after the LP automatically appeared in their iTunes libraries.

In a recent Facebook Q&A session, one iTunes user who's apparently not happy to get the free album wrote to the band, "Can you please never release an album on iTunes that automatically downloads to people's playlists ever again? It's really rude."

"Oops. I'm sorry about that. I had this beautiful idea and we got carried away with ourselves. Artists are prone to that kind of thing," frontman Bono replied. "Drop of megalomania, touch of generosity, dash of self-promotion, and deep fear that these songs that we poured our life into over the last few years mightn't be heard. There's a lot of noise out there. I guess we got a little noisy ourselves to get through it."
