Faye Grant allegedly talked about her accusations in an e-mail she sent to Collins last year, but sources to the actor denies it, saying that Grant fabricated the story.

AceShowbiz - Faye Grant, Stephen Collins' estranged wife, reportedly accused the actor of using his fame to get close to the parents of his molestation victims. Grant talked about the accusations in an e-mail she sent to Collins last year, TMZ reports.

Grant reportedly said in the e-mail that Collins first tried to gain the trust from the victims' parents so that he could get access to the children and approached them when they were alone. "7th Heaven" aired between 1996 and 2007.

A source close to the Reverend Eric Camden depicter, however, denied the allegations. "The notion that Stephen used his role on '7th Heaven' for any improper purpose is completely false and just another example of Faye fabricating a story to gain an advantage in the divorce proceedings," the source said.

Collins has been making headlines after an audio of him allegedly admitting to molesting and/or exposing himself to three children emerged earlier this month. The incidents reportedly took place in the 1980s.

A week after the molestation scandal emerged, The Agency for the Performing Arts which had been working with the actor for five years, said that they had severed ties with the actor. Additionally, Collins' appearances on "Scandal" and the upcoming "Ted 2" would be canceled.
