AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift lands on the front page of PEOPLE for its 40th anniversary issue. The pop/country superstar channels Mia Farrow on the cover, recreating her pose in a photo which was featured on the magazine's front page in 1974. In the new edition, Swift can be seen staring at the camera while biting a pearl necklace.
In an accompanying interview, the "Shake It Off" singer opens up about enjoying single life. "I made the decision to spend time on my own and figure out who I am. When you take the other person out of the scenario and you're walking through life on your own, you end up figuring out what you actually like without anyone else's input," she says.
"Being on my own, prioritizing my girlfriends, my family and my music above everything else and trying things I never thought I'd try. It's really been a liberating and freeing time," the 24-year-old singer says of her life this year.
Swift, who was romantically linked to some famous names such as Harry Styles and Jake Gyllenhaal in the past, is now not in rush to find a new love. "I'm not too worried about whether I meet someone. I'm going to be happy either way," she shares.
