AceShowbiz - Rapper Too Short should just leave his gun at home. The rapper, whose real name is Todd Anthony Shaw, was going through a security check at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on Wednesday, October 1 when the TSA staff found a loaded gun in his carry-on, police say.

The rapper fled from the scene, leaving his luggage and other belongings including shoes at the airport. He returned the next day with his attorney and was cited on misdemeanor possession of a loaded handgun in a public place before being released. His court appearance is set for November 3.

Short's manager David Weintraub has commented on the incident, telling CNN that it was a "very common mistake and a big misunderstanding." According to Weintraub, the rapper has been working hard and he "forgot it was in there."

The rapper, who is popular for his songs "Life Is ... Too Short" and "Blow the Whistle", shared similar story as he called TMZ Live. He said he was in rush, packed the wrong bag and did not notice that there was a gun in the bag. "Who would take a gun into airport?" he said.
