The 'Mad Men' actor will join new members like Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and Amanda Seyfried in the sequel.

AceShowbiz - "Ted 2" keeps adding new members to its cast ensemble. After securing Liam Neeson for a cameo, now the "Ted" sequel taps John Slattery for an unspecified role. The second movie is due to arrive in theaters Stateside June 26, 2015.
Seth MacFarlane is back at the helm and as the voice of the foul-mouthed teddy bear, and Mark Wahlberg returns as his human friend. Amanda Seyfried is cast as a new leading lady, and Morgan Freeman will play a civil rights lawyer who shows up when Ted needs to resolve some legal issues.
Slattery is a regular on "Mad Men" and has a role on "Arrested Development". On the big screen, he plays Howard Stark in Marvel Cinematic Universe. He introduced Tony Stark's father in "Iron Man 2" and will reprise his role in "Ant-Man".
