Ellen Pompeo and her co-stars pose as their 'OITNB' favorites in a picture which she shares via WhoSay with a caption which reads, 'Blue is the new black.'

AceShowbiz - Ellen Pompeo and her "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars channel their inner inmates in a picture that parodies "Orange Is the New Black". Wearing blue hospital garbs, they impersonate their favorite characters on the Netflix series with Pompeo as Tricia and Sara Ramirez as Alex.
"Blue is the new black," Pompeo wrote along with the photo she shared on WhoSay. Kerry Washington, who stars on another Shonda Rhimes drama "Scandal", retweeted the picture and added, "UH. MAY. ZING. #TGIT."
When one of her Twitter followers asked Pompeo if she watched the prison drama, the Meredith Grey depicter replied, "Surely everyone watches #OITNB ? #Amazeballs' if they don't they should those girls are giving it."
"Grey's Anatomy" will return with the 11th season Thursday, September 25 at 8 P.M. on ABC. A previously released promo for the season hints that Meredith and Derek's marriage is once again on the rocks after she refused to leave Seattle and go with him to Washington.
