AceShowbiz - Elisabetta Canalis tied the knot with her fiance Brian Perri on Sunday, September 14 in Sardinia, Italy. The Italian actress, who gained worldwide fame after dating George Clooney, looked stunning in her wedding dress as she entered the Sassari Cathedral.
Elisabetta wore a white bridal gown featuring layers of lace embellishments and a long flowing train. She also sported a sheer veil with her hair styled in loose waves. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant completed her look by carrying a bouquet of white flowers.
This is the first marriage for Elisabetta who was previously engaged to soccer star Christian Vieri and film director Gabriele Muccino. She and Brian began dating in late 2013 after she split from Steve-O.
Back in June, Elisabetta opened up about the miscarriage she had suffered. She was originally expecting her first child with Brian in fall, but their baby's heartbeat suddenly stopped. She posted a lengthy message in Italian on WhoSay at that time, saying, "Unfortunately, life gives you...a reality that you do not expect, and that is very hard to accept, even if you think you are strong enough and prepared. "
"You're never really ready to be told that there is no more beating [heartbeat] and that it had already stopped long ago."
She went on saying of Brian, "I know I'm lucky because I have a special man next to me that I wish all to have. The future is full of surprises and happiness and there's a lot of hope, I keep on believing in it."
