Led Zeppelin's version of the song, which was originally a folk song penned by Anna Bredon, appears on their self-titled 1969 album.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus unleashes her inner rock 'n roll star for her version of Led Zeppelin's "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You". The pop superstar shared an impressive cover of the classic via her SoundCloud page on Friday night, September 12 and told her Twitter followers to "check dis s**t out."

Cyrus tweaked the song's title a little bit, writing "Baby, I'm Gonna Leave You". She puts her vocals to the test as she passionately sings the lyrics, "Baby, oh baby, I'm gonna leave you. Oh, baby, you know I've really got to leave you. Oh I can hear it calling me. I said don't you hear it calling me the way it used to do?"

Led Zeppelin's "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" is featured on the band's self-titled album that arrived in 1969. The song was originally a folk song from the late 1950s written by Anne Bredon. It has been covered by everyone from the Association to Vanilla Fudge.

Cyrus has previously covered "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" for The Flaming Lips' "With a Little Help From My Fwends", a track-for-track tribute to The Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". She recently announced plans on Instagram to tackle Leonard Cohen's "I'm Your Man" next.
