Zadora is now receiving treatment in the intensive care unit after she fell from a golf cart near her home in Summerlin, Nevada.

AceShowbiz - Pia Zadora is suffering from serious injuries following a golf cart accident recently. Her husband Mike Jeffries told Las Vegas Sun that Zadora fell from a golf cart which was driven by her 17-year-old son Jordan on Thursday, September 11 near her home in Summerlin, Nevada.
The actress/singer's husband explained that Zadora was thrown out of the cart when it made a left turn. She suffered from a compound fracture of her right ankle and a head injury. She is now receiving treatment in intensive care at University Medical Center and has been drifting in and out of consciousness.
"The prognosis is excellent. She will be a little bit uncomfortable for a couple of days, but she is going to be fine," the 60-year-old actress' friend and former manager Brian Panella told Reuters. "But she did hit her head quite hard."
Zadora's upcoming scheduled appearance has been canceled following the hospitalization. She was supposed to make an appearance at Piero's Italian Restaurant on the weekend alongside a band led by pianist Vinnie Falcone.
