In the romantic comedy, the 'Captain America' actor plays a writer who does not believe in love, but ends up falling for Michelle Monaghan's character.

AceShowbiz - "Playing It Cool", a romance movie directed by Justin Reardon, has dropped its first trailer. The 2-minute video released on Friday, September 12 sees a writer who does not believe in love, played by Chris Evans, finding his lady in a character played by Michelle Monaghan.

"I just don't see myself feeling the same way about you," Evans' character tells different women who profess their love. He, however, unexpectedly falls for Monaghan after they meet at a charity dinner. The bad news is she is already engaged.

Despite the fact that she is engaged, the pair stay close and enjoy their platonic relationship. Evans apparently is miserable as he cannot continue the relationship to the next step. "You know how I kill infatuation?" a friend asks during a chat. "With the gun?" another pal answers. Later, Evans gathers his courage and tells her, "I don't want you to marry this guy."

In addition to the two actors, the flick stars Evans' co-star in 2005's "Fantastic Four" Ioan Gruffudd as Monaghan's fiance, Luke Wilson, Topher Grace, Anthony Mackie, Aubrey Plaza and Ashley Tisdale among others.
