AceShowbiz - Austin Butler is mourning the death of his mother Lori. The 23-year-old actor, who played James "Wilke" Wilkerson on "Switched at Birth" and Sebastian Kydd on "The Carrie Diaries", took to Twitter on Thursday, September 11 to share the sad news. "Lori Butler, my mom, my hero, & my best friend passed away this morning. Lets all celebrate her. I love you and will miss you every day Mom," he tweeted.
"I miss you already mama. #ripLoriButler #celebrateLori spread the love for Lori," the actor's girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens wrote after learning of the sad news. Her mother Gina Hudgens also tweeted her condolences. "Lori, RIP. You'll be forever alive in our hearts & mind. You'll always be our angel in heaven watching over us. U will be missed!" she wrote.
Butler was most recently seen on Wednesday afternoon on the set of his movie "Yoga Hosers" which tells the story of two avid yoga fans who join forces with a legendary man-hunter to fight an ancient evil. Johnny Depp plays the man-hunter while the two teenagers are played by his daughter Lily-Rose Depp and Harley Quinn Smith.
A few days ago, it was announced that Butler landed a recurring role on "Arrow". He is set to play a DJ named Chase who becomes Thea Queen's love interest.
