Both the 'Bridesmaids' actress and the 'Tammy' star are open to be part of the female 'Ghostbusters' members.

AceShowbiz - Two of the names promoted by Bill Murray to star in a female-centric "Ghostbuster" movie project have responded to his endorsement. They are "Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig and "The Heat" actress Melissa McCarthy.

During a visit to Toronto International Film Festival, Wiig jokingly said to Yahoo! Movies, "I will do whatever Bill Murray tells me to." Fellow "Saturday Night Live" alum Bill Hader who was in town with her to promote their movie "The Skeleton Twins" replied, "I don't want to pressure you. But you should do it... And you should have a friend, who's, like, a guy who has to carry around your proton pack."

McCarthy is also open to the idea of joining the female "Ghostbusters" gang although she hasn't been approached yet. "I think that somebody is really trying to do it, but nobody has talked to me about it. Listen, if the people I think are doing it are doing it, I must never question them," she told The Star.

Murray previously revealed his wish list for the possible rebooted franchise. Wiig and McCarthy were listed by the original "Ghostbusters" star along with "Mad Men" star Linda Cardellini and "The Amazing Spider-Man" leading lady Emma Stone.
