AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood got emotional at the annual ACM Honors in Nashville. The country superstar, who received the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award at the Tuesday night, September 9 event, cried when thanking her family and husband during her acceptance speech.

"Thank you to my family and my husband tonight, very supportive and wonderful to me," Underwood said as her eyes started watering up. "I have the best team in the universe. And I feel like I don't get enough chances to thank them publicly."

"What is wrong with me?" the singer, who announced her pregnancy last week, said after sniffling her way through the speech.

After making the tear-filled speech, Underwood posted an Instagram photo from the event and captioned it with, "Had such a great night at the ACM Honors! Now everyone can go back to making fun of me for crying during my speech!"

The ACM Honors was hosted by Jake Owen and featured performances from Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum's Hilary Scott, Kacey Musgraves, Hunter Hayes, Rascal Flatts and The Swon Bothers among others. Shane McAnally and Toby Keith were among honorees.
