The actor says in a Twitter post that he will give a waiter at PYT restaurant in Philadelphia, who allegedly was given a 20-cent tip by an NFL player, $1,000 and a 'surprise.'

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen offers to give a waiter a $1,000 tip after he allegedly received poor tip from an NFL star. Sheen tweeted about the generous gesture after learning that Philadelphia Eagles player LeSean McCoy allegedly gave a waiter named Rob a 20-cent tip after dining with his friends.

In response to the story, the "Anger Management" star took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 10 and wrote, "Dear Tommy Up at PYT in Philly. Please tell Rob K I'm pledging 1000 dollars to him for the tip debacle just wanna help. c #NoJudgement."

The owner then shared the screengrab on Facebook and wrote, "Charlie Sheen is an American hero and a gentleman." He later added in another post that Sheen was also giving Rob a surprise, writing, "So... Charlie Sheen really is an awesome dude. He said he is sending a surprise to Rob and we are getting it tomorrow. I literally have no idea what the 'surprise' is but we're holding our breath:)."

The tip war started after McCoy went to a PYT restaurant in Philadelphia on Monday afternoon with his three friends. According to a Facebook post by the owner Tommy Up, their bill totaled $61.56, but the star only gave the staff a 20-cent tip. He shared a photo of the receipt on Facebook and said, "Twenty cent tip on a $60 check. New low tip record! Thanks LeSean McCoy!"

Philadelphia Daily News' Les Bowen has asked McCoy about the alleged poor gesture. "It's bulls**t, man," the footballer said without explaining further.
