Pink and Dallas Green Form Duo You+Me, Debut New Song From Upcoming Album

The duo, who previously worked together on Pink's 'Truth About Love' tour, is releasing an album called 'Rose Ave' on October 14.

AceShowbiz - Pink and Dallas Green a.k.a. City Colour are working together as duo You+Me. The songstress, who performs under her given name Alecia Moore, and the Canadian musician announced the formation and revealed their new projects as a group on Monday, September 8.

"The artists met through Alecia's husband Carey Hart and instantly felt a connection and wanted to work together," reads a statement from the label. "Alecia invited Dallas to Los Angeles to write a song or two and ended up writing 8 songs together in 1 week. The duo then decided to finish and record an album."

The album is titled "Rose Ave" and is due on October 14 via RCA. Fans who pre-order it will be able to download the set's first offering, "You+Me". The folk ballad has also hit the web along with its accompanying lyric video.

Pink's latest album, "The Truth About Love", was released in 2012 and it spawned hits like "Try" and Nate Ruess-assisted "Just Give Me a Reason". Green, who's also a successful musician especially in his native Canada, served as an opening act on several dates of her "Truth About Love" tour.
