The upbeat pop tune will be featured in the singer's upcoming self-titled album that's coming out on November 11.

AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas has officially dropped his new single "Jealous". Unlike his previous release, the R&B-tinged "Chains", the new track produced by Nolan Lambroza is upbeat and refreshing. The former Jonas Brothers member describes how he feels when another man looks at his "sexy" and "beautiful" girl on the song.

"I turn my cheek, music up/ And I'm puffing my chest/ I'm getting ready to face you/ Can call me obsessed," he sings. "It's not your fault that they hover/ I mean no disrespect/ It's my right to be hellish/ I still get jealous."

Jonas has revealed that the track was inspired by a real event that happened when he was out with girlfriend Olivia Culpo one night. In a recent interview on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest", the 21-year-old singer explained, "I was out with my girlfriend the night before I wrote this song ... and I got heated. I was doing all this fighting training for this show I just finished up [DirecTV's 'Kingdom'], so I was ready to go. [But] I contained myself ... and I came in the next day to the studio and wrote this song."

"I think it is true ... a lot of people can relate with this, a lot of men, they don't talk about it, it makes them uncomfortable. But I think vulnerability is good and it's what makes us human," he added.

"Jealous" is the second offering from Jonas' upcoming self-titled album that's scheduled for release on November 11. To support the LP, he'll headline a string of tour dates starting on September 22.
