Before releasing his self-titled album on November 11, the singer will be on a tour from September 2 until October 8.

AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas has set the official release date for his solo album. Marking the singer's first full length since his band Jonas Brothers broke up late last year, the record titled "Nick Jonas" is scheduled to hit the stores on November 11.

The deluxe edition of the album will include 13 tracks including lead cut "Chains" and its follow-up "Jealous" which is set to hit iTunes on Monday, September 9. Jonas has revealed that the latter song was inspired by a real event that happened when he was out with girlfriend Olivia Culpo one night.

Speaking in a phone interview on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" earlier this week, he said, "I was out with my girlfriend the night before I wrote this song ... and I got heated. I was doing all this fighting training for this show I just finished up [DirecTV's 'Kingdom'], so I was ready to go. [But] I contained myself ... and I came in the next day to the studio and wrote this song."

"I think it is true ... a lot of people can relate with this, a lot of men, they don't talk about it, it makes them uncomfortable. But I think vulnerability is good and it's what makes us human," he added.

Jonas has also announced a string of tour dates to support the album. According to the itinerary posted on his Instagram on Friday, September 5, the 21-year-old heartthrob will make his first stop on September 22 in Seattle, Washington. He'll visit some other North American cities like San Francisco, San Antonio, Houson, Chicago and Toronto before closing out the 11-city trek in Boston on October 8. Fans who pre-order his album will get early access to tour tickets.
