Movie

The actor slash director worked together with his writing partner Logan Coles to sell a thriller to 'Get on Up' distributor.

AceShowbiz - Chadwick Boseman is really getting his name out there. The star of this summer's James Brown biopic in "Get on Up" has just sold an untitled pitch to Universal Pictures.

Details regarding the project are unknown except that it's a thriller in the vein of "The Fugitive". Deadline reported that Boseman wrote the pitch with writing partner Logan Coles. The actor is also attached to star in the film while Coles is set to co-produce. Universal's Marc E. Platt and Adam Siegel are producing under Marc Platt Productions.

No word yet on who would be the director although Boseman is no stranger to stepping behind the camera. He directed the 2008 short "Blood Over a Broken Pawn" and 2012 short "Heaven", both of which Coles were involved in. Boseman will next be seen in front of the camera in Summit's "Gods of Egypt".
