Donning a Seahawks jersey and a pair of jeans, the singer belts out 'The Star-Spangled Banner' before the first NFL game in the season between Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers.
Ariana Grande helped kick off the NFL season on Thursday, September 4. The singer performed a stunning rendition of the national anthem before the game between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers at the CenturyLink Stadium in Seattle, Washington.
Trading her cute tiny dress for a Seahawks jersey and a pair of jeans, Grande amazed the crowd as well as the players of both teams as she belted out "The Star-Spangled Banner" in the middle of the field and hit the high notes effortlessly.
Via their Twitter account, Seahawks thanked Grande for her performance. "@ArianaGrande Your rendition got the best of us. At least the improtant one of us got it right," they said after previously mixing up Francis Scott Key's words in a now-deleted tweet that read, "The home of the free. And the land of the brave."
Grande's performance came just a day after her newest album, "My Everyting", made its debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200. Opening with 169,000 copies, it becomes her second LP to top the chart in less than a year.
