Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg tied the knot on Sunday, August 31 at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois. Jenny and Donnie's representative told Us Weekly the couple had a quiet ceremony which lasted only 20 minutes and was attended by close family and friends.
One of the guests, Sherri Shepherd, shared a picture of her taking a morning flight to go to the couple's wedding, captioning it with, "Catching an early morning flight to @jennyannmccarthy & @donniewahlberg's wedding ... What a beautiful day to join as one before God! Congrats to two beautiful people!" Other guests included New Kids on the Block's members Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Jonathan Knight.
Donnie's brother, Mark Wahlberg, could not attend the wedding and apologized to the couple in a short video posted on Instagram on Saturday. "Congratulations guys! Congratulations from all of us! We wish we could be there - it's Ella's birthday today, she's 11," Mark said in the video, "I love you Donnie. I'm very happy for you. Sorry I couldn't be there, I'll see you soon."
Donnie then replied to Mark on Twitter, writing, "Thank you @mark_wahlberg. Thanks to you & @rheadur for the adorable video for me & Jenny! Please wish a Happy B-Day to my god daughter Ella!"
This is the second marriage for Jenny and Donnie. Jenny was previously married to director John Mallory Asher before dating Jim Carrey in late 2000s. Meanwhile, Donnie was previously married to recording engineer, Kim Fey.
