These three actors are cast in a short film to promote Melco-Crown Entertainment's newest movie-themed resort.

AceShowbiz - Three A-list stars, Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, are working together in a campaign for Melco-Crown Entertainment (MCE). Martin Scorsese is directing a short film that promotes the global resorts and casino brand owned by Lawrence Ho and James Packer.

The short film naturally has casino for the theme. "The Wolf of Wall Street" scribe and "Boardwalk Empire" creator Terence Winter wrote the script, but plot remains under wrap. Packer and Ho are executive producers of the short film, which will premiere next year at the opening of Melco Crown's movie-themed resort, Studio City in Macau. Brett Ratner and Jules Daly are producing under RatPac Entertainment and RSA banners respectively.

Production is already underway. Newly-married Pitt skipped honeymoon to shoot the film in New York City over the weekend. He was photographed looking dapper in a black suit while walking to the commercial set on Saturday, August 30 evening. He was back on the set the next morning, wearing an orange bowler hat.

This is the first time that the three actors work together with Scorsese in a project. The director has a lot on his plate, including the Ramones biopic that was recently announced.
