The 'One Tree Hill' alum will play Strategic Scientific Reserve agent Jack Thompson, while the 'Dollhouse' star will portray SSR agent Daniel Sousa.
ABC's upcoming series "Marvel's Agent Carter" has recruited two new actors. Chad Michael Murray ("A Cinderella Story", "Fruitvale Station") and Enver Gjokaj ("Dollhouse") are added to the cast as series regulars, Marvel has announced.
Murray, who is best known for his portrayal of Lucas Scott on The CW's "One Tree Hill", is cast in the role of Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) Agent Jack Thompson. Gjokaj, who played Victor on Joss Whedon's science fiction "Dollhouse", will portray Agent Daniel Sousa.
On "Agent Carter", Hayley Atwell reprises her "Captain America: The First Avenger" role as Peggy Carter. The story is set in 1946. Peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad.
Working for the covert SSR, Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life-Steve Rogers.
Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas serve as showrunners and also executive produce the new series along with Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Chris Dingess, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Alan Fine, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Jeph Loeb. The show is slated to premiere in January 2015.
