Eduardo Sanchez directs a new found-footage film that follows a group of friends in survival against a mythical creature.
"The Blair Witch Project" director Eduardo Sanchez returns to found-footage form in "Exists". Lionsgate has released the first trailer to the horror film which centers on the existence of mythical creature Bigfoot.
For five friends, it is a chance for a summer getaway, a weekend of camping in the Texas Big Thicket. But visions of a carefree vacation are shattered with an accident on a dark and desolate country road. In the wake of the accident, a bloodcurdling force of nature is unleashed, something not exactly human, but not completely animal - an urban legend comes to terrifying life... and seeking murderous revenge.
The trailer begins with a group of twenty-something friends filming each other during their road trip. They arrive at their destination, a deserted cabin in the middle of a dense forest. It is soon before long that they discover they are not alone in the woods. Their cameras capture the creature which is disturbed by their presence.
Jamie Nash, writer of a segment in "V/H/S/2", wrote the script. The film stars Chris Osborn, Dora Madison Burge, Roger Edwards, Samuel Davis, Denise Williamson and Brian Steele. It will head to theaters and iTunes on October 24.
