The lovebirds join Eva Longoria, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson at the event, while Selena Gomez, Lea Michele and Julianna Margulies attend a pre-Emmy bash held by Variety.
A few days shy of the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, a number of Hollywood stars stepped out over the weekend for various pre-Emmy events. On Friday, August 22, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello attended the CAA pre-Emmy party at Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills, California.
The Colombian actress opted for a simple black dress, while her hunky boyfriend looked sharp in a black shirt and blue suit. The "Modern Family" star also posed for a picture with Eva Longoria, who dazzled in a glittering black lacy dress. "I look like a midget next to the gorgeous @sofiavergara!!!" the former "Desperate Housewives" star tweeted.
According to an onlooker, Vergara and Manganiello weren't shy to show their affection towards each other at the party. "They took center stage and could not keep their hands off each other," the source told E! News. "Lots of PDA!"
Celebrity couple Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, singer John Mayer, actors Tony Goldwyn, Jim Parsons, Kate Walsh and Debby Ryan were among other attendees at the event.
The next day, Selena Gomez stole the spotlight at the Variety and Women in Film pre-Emmy Celebration held at Gracias Madre in West Hollywood, California. She brigthened up the night with her red, long sleeve, high-neck jumpsuit, paired with pointy black bumps and a matching clutch.
She posed for photos with Sarah Hyland, who wore a bejeweled, loose-fitting halter top over high-waisted cream, flowy pants. Lea Michele looked feminine in a decorated white gown. Sarah Paulson, her "American Horror Story" co-star Angela Bassett, Sophia Bush and Rachelle Lefevre were up for the event as well.
There was a rare and hilarious sighting at the event when Julianna Margulies was photobombed by legendary actress Cloris Leachman while posing for photographers. The 88-year-old star, wearing slippers, ran into the "ER" alumna who later hugged Leachman.
