The 'Today' anchor is thrilled to announce that his fiancee has given birth to a baby girl London Rose Daly.
It's a baby girl for Carson Daly and his fiancee Siri Pinter. The couple welcomed their second daughter Wednesday, August 20. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 oz., measured 22 inches long and "has the cheeks, too," according to her proud father. They named the bundle of joy London Rose Daly.
"Siri is a warrior and I'm so amazed by her poise, grace and strength during this miraculous process," Carson said on FaceTime live on "Today" show. "Baby and Siri are right here. They're doing very well. It's incredible. We thought this was going to happen on Saturday and it didn't. We went home. It was a long couple days of waiting."
"Finally yesterday I got a call," the anchor went on. "It was Siri saying 'Come on, come on! It's happening right now!' and like out of a movie, I sped to the hospital and they were literally waiting for me to get there and we had our beautiful baby girl."
Little London is the couple's third child. She joins big brother Jackson James, 5, and big sister Etta Jones, 2. "We tried to pick something that matched (our kids' names)," Carson said. "Rose was my grandma's name, Etta was Siri's grandma's name...When little London came out we were still throwing out (names.)"
London is the latest addition to the extended "Today" family after Savannah Guthrie delivered her own daughter a week before. "Congrats @SavannahGuthrie on your baby girl!! Now I'm even more anxious for little Vale's BFF to be born :)" Siri tweeted back then. Now that Siri has given birth to a baby girl, Savannah tweeted back, "We are so glad youre here London Rose!! Much love to @CarsonDaly @siriouslydelish - Vale can't wait to play! #girls."
