Robin Williams Could Be Axed From 'Absolutely Anything'
Simon Pegg says his late co-star may not have finished voicing Dennis the Dog in the film and filmmakers may have to find another actor to record the role from the beginning.

Robin Williams could be cut from "Absolutely Anything". In what is supposed to be one of his final films, the late actor provided the voice of Dennis the Dog, but his performance may not have been completed.

Simon Pegg who also stars in the sci-fi comedy told The Telegraph, "I'm not sure Robin had completed doing his voice in the movie. He was doing the voice of my dog and I hope that he had completed it because it would be a real shame not to have him in it. And of course there will be a degree of sadness there, but the work he did do would have been done with his usual verve and brilliance."

If what Pegg said is indeed true, filmmakers may have to find another actor to record the part from start to finish. Lionsgate U.K., the British distributors of the film, declined to comment on whether Williams' contribution would be included in the final cut.

"Absolutely Anything", slated for a 2015 release, follows Neil Clarke (Pegg), a schoolteacher who is given magical powers by a group of aliens to make his every wish a reality. Terry Jones directs the movie.

Other films starring Williams which are yet to be released include "Merry Friggin' Christmas", "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" and "Boulevard".
