Robin Williams Highlighted in Two 'Merry Friggin' Christmas' Clips
Movie

In the family comedy, Williams stars as Joel McHale's eccentric father who thinks Santa would love Bourbon and asparagus.

AceShowbiz - "A Merry Friggin' Christmas" is one of the unreleased films that Robin Williams left behind after his death on Monday, August 11. Two clips from the holiday movie have been released with scenes involving the late actor.

Williams stars as Mitch, the eccentric father of Joel McHale's Boyd Mitchler who spends a dreaded Christmas with his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son's gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the eight-hour round trip before sunrise.

One clip highlights Mitch's conversation with his grandson, played by nine-year-old Pierce Gagnon, who complains that there are no milk and cookies left for Santa. Mitch then suggests Bourbon and asparagus as substitute. The other clip focuses on the family's dinner where Mitch tells his son that they are indeed dining on squirrel meat.

The film will be released on limited theaters and on demand on November 7.

Williams' three other unreleased films are "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb", "Boulevard" and "Absolutely Anything".
