The 'Happy' hitmaker also includes some of his own tracks, 'Can I Have It Like That?', 'How Does It Feel?' and 'Hunter'.

AceShowbiz - Pharrell Williams has curated the playlist of 2K Sports' upcoming "NBA 2K15" video game. The list, unveiled on Tuesday, August 12, features 27 old and new tracks by several hip-hop, rock and pop artists.

Snoop Dogg, Lorde, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, The Black Keys and Red Hot Chili Peppers are among those whose songs appear in the list. Skateboard P also includes some of his own tracks like "Can I Have It Like That?", "How Does It Feel?" and "Hunter".

"NBA 2K15" is expected to go on sale on October 7. NBA star LeBron James and rapper Jay-Z curated the playlist of "2K14" and "2K13", respectively.

After his involvement in the project was announced, Pharrell revealed his strategic approach in following up both LeBron and Jay-Z in an interview with Complex.

"You know what? There are girls that play the game and there's a lot of girls that are around it because their boyfriends play it or their friends play it," he said. "So I thought it'd be such an interesting twist to have the girls weigh in on the song list, because they're the ones that listen to it, they listen to it just as much. So I was just trying to pick like an alternative approach, you know, because how do you follow up like LeBron and Jay? You gotta take a different route."
