The 65-year-old actress/singer revealed a brand new Madame Tussauds wax figure which is a replica of her character in 1970s movie 'Grease'.
Olivia Newton-John unveiled her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, August 9. The wax figure is a replica of her character Sandy in the cult classic film "Grease".
"It's very strange, it's very bizarre," Olivia told Fox411 as she stood next to the wax figure reflecting her younger self, "um, it's like before and after." The internationally acclaimed singer and actress looked amazing in black trousers and a long black camisole under a glitzy burgundy top as she posed with the wax figure who was dressed in leather biker jacket.
Olivia appeared at Madame Tussauds before taking the stage for her popular "Summer Nights" show at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. "Summer Nights" has been attracting fans of all ages. Olivia said, "I's a wonderful experience. I'm having a great time here at the Flamingo. Summer Night's is so much fun."
The Grammy Award winner also said that she's hitting the studio to record new music. Her new album will include collaborations with other artists she refused to name. She said, "I won't tell you yet. But I will tell you when the time is right."
The wax figure took hundreds of hours to make and cost $300,000. It will remain for a week at Madame Tussauds before heading to Hollywood Museum.
