Teen Choice Awards 2014: LeBron James, Serena Williams Are Winners in Sports
In addition to the basketball star and the tennis player, One Direction takes home a surfboard for Choice Male Hottie while Kevin Hart is announced as the winner for Choice Comedian.


LeBron James and Serena Williams have been announced as the winners in sports category at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. James brought home a trophy after winning Choice Male Athlete at the Sunday, August 10 awards event while Williams received a trophy for Choice Female Athlete.

In addition to Sports category, the event honored many other stars in various categories. In fashion, One Direction who brought home eight awards in music was declared Choice Male Hottie. The British/Irish group's member Harry Styles also won Choice Smile. Selena Gomez, meanwhile, nabbed Choice Female Hottie.

In Other category, Zendaya Coleman grabbed Candie's Choice Style Icon. The Sunday event also presented Kevin Hart with Choice Comedian trophy after he bested Jimmy Fallon, Mindy Kaling, Andy Samberg and Kenan Thompson.

Besides the said categories, celebrities who are on social media competed for awards. One Direction, who was unable to attend the show because of tour, received more trophies for Choice Social Media King and Choice Twit. The Queen title, meanwhile, was awarded to Katy Perry. Miley Cyrus was named Choice Instagrammer. Vine star Cameron Dallas was announced the winner of Choice Viner at the show which was hosted by Tyler Posey and Sarah Hyland.
