"Mad Max: Fury Road" is getting a sequel. During a press conference at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, director George Miller opened up that he already penned a screenplay for the fifth installment of his "Mad Max" franchise.
"In order to tell this story, we came up with two others," the helmer dished on. "We've written the screenplay of one and the novelization of another, but it's a very rough novel. We kept working on them while we were working on other things."
Starring Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult among others, "Fury Road" will be released in U.S. theaters on May 15, 2015. The first trailer to the post-apocalyptic actioner was revealed at the Comic-Con over the weekend at the Warner Bros. panel.
