The Rachel Berry of 'Glee' has been spotted on the set of the FX series to film her part as a 'single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time.'
Lea Michele is going to appear on "Sons of Anarchy" before the show brings down the curtain. The actress has landed a guest-starring role in the seventh and final season of the FX series and has been spotted on the set of the drama.
Michele broke the news on Monday, July 28, tweeting, "I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX." She additionally posted a picture with Paris Barclay, a director on "Sons of Anarchy" who has also worked with Michele on "Glee".
FX has confirmed the news, revealing that the 27-year-old brunette will play Gertie, "an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time." She will appear in the sixth episode which is scheduled to air on October 14.
"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 will debut September 9 with an extended episode which will air starting at 10 P.M. ET/PT on FX. Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Walton Goggins have been booked to guest star in the final season as well.
Michele's FOX series "Glee" is also entering its final season with its upcoming sixth installment, which will premiere in spring 2015.
