Ben Affleck wears a cowl made from thick leather to portray the Caped Crusader in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder shared another photo of the movie's hero just a day after tweeting an image of "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill dressed as a Jedi version of Superman. In his new post, Snyder exposed a close-up look of Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight.
Snyder captioned the pic, "#75", referring to the 75th anniversary of the DC Entertainment character. The image was part of an event celebrating various depictions of Batman in comics, TV shows, movies and games, being displayed at DC Comics' San Diego Comic-Con booth.
Batman costumes through the years were also on full display at the DC Entertainment area of the main floor. Although only the cape and cowl are put up, the mini exhibition included such costumes worn by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney during their stint as the Caped Crusader.
A "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" panel is noticeably missing from this year's Comic-Con line-up. However, it is expected that Warner Bros. will make some kind of announcement about the movie when it has its presentation on Saturday, July 26 at Hall H.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released on May 6, 2016 Stateside.
