The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star fuels speculations that she and her husband are expecting a baby after she wore a figure-revealing dress at the movie premiere.
Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego are expecting their first child together, multiple sources report. The Hollywood Reporter reported on Wednesday, July 23 that the actress' publicist confirmed the pregnancy news, but the article is no longer available.
A source, meanwhile, told Us Magazine that the baby news was true, saying, "Zoe is about three months pregnant. But she will only announce the news when she's ready." Another source additionally shared that the "Star Trek Into Darkness" actress and her husband were excited to be parents. "Zoe has always wanted a big family and Marco's on board, too!" the source claimed.
Back in 2012, the "Avatar" star said during an interview with "The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet" that she wanted to have "two or three" or "four or five" children. "I don't care. They're just so delicious. I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I'm a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them. I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child makes perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time," she gushed.
Saldana and her Italian artist husband got married in England last year. The couple, however, only made their first red carpet appearance together at AOL's NewFronts in New York City on April 29.
The 36-year-old actress has been rumored to be expecting for a while. She previously showed what appeared to be baby bump during a grocery shopping earlier this month. She fueled the speculations when attending the premiere of "Guardians of the Galaxy" on Monday where she wore a Louis Vuitton dress which showed her curves.
