The parodist says he's the 'greatest' craftsman 'in the business' who can fix anything from patching the drywall to mowing the lawn in the new video.
Weird Al Yankovic has released the fourth music video to promote his newest album, "Mandatory Fun". In the latest one, which is titled "Handy" and a parody of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy", the singer and parodist transforms into a craftsman who claims he can fix anything from patching the drywall to mowing the lawn.
"First things first, I'm a craftsman (craftsman)/ Remodeling is my only passion (it's my passion)/ And I'm the greatest in the business/ Want referrals, yo/ My clientele will bear you witness (right, right)," he sings, replacing Azalea's original verses.
"I'm so handy, you already know/ I'll fix your plumbing when your toilets overflows/ I'm so handy, I'll bring you up to code/ When your dishwasher's about to explode," he tackles the first chorus and adds in the second one, "I'm so handy, everyone says so/ I'll grout your bathroom. Resurface your patio/ I'm so handy, I'm the guy to know/ When your leaf-blower doesn't blow."
Prior to "Handy", Weird Al has released the videos of "Tacky", "Word Crimes" and "Foil" which find him spoofing Pharrell Williams' "Happy", Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Lorde's "Royals" respectively. All the parodies appear in "Mandatory Fun" which came out earlier this week and is currently competing against Jason Mraz's "Yes!" for the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 chart.
