According to the singer, people can use aluminum foil to keep their leftover fresh and to shield their thoughts from government spying and the Illuminati.

AceShowbiz - Weird Al Yankovic spoofs Lorde's "Royals" in the music video for his "Mandatory Fun" cut called "Foil". The hilarious new clip, premiering on Wednesday, July 16 via College Humor, opens with the singer/parodist talking about how to keep his leftovers fresh.

"I never seem to finish all my food/ I always get a doggie bag from the waiter/ so I just keep what's still unchewed/ And I take it home save it for later," he sings from a restaurant table before appearing as a host of a cooking show and telling viewers that aluminum foil will protect their food from microbes, enzymes, mould and oxidation.

"With aluminum foil (foil)/ Never settle for less/ That kind of wrap is just the best/ To keep your sandwich nice and fresh," he continues. Also starring in the video is Patton Oswalt, who plays a frustrated director.

However, keeping leftovers fresh isn't the only thing aluminum foil can do. According to Weird Al, viewers can wear an aluminum foil hat to shield their thoughts from government spying and the Illuminati.
