Lewis and her 'bandmates' Stewart, Hathaway and Brie Larson are also seen dressing as males, donning tracksuits, wigs, baseball caps and fake mustaches while dancing to the song.
Jenny Lewis joins forces with some famous faces for the music video of her new track titled "Just One of the Guys". Directed by Lewis herself, the four-minute visuals opens with the singer performing the song while being backed by a band consisting of Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway and Brie Larson who are all clad in white suits.
The scenes of the girls performing intersperse with ones showing them dressing like men. Donning tracksuits, wigs, baseball caps and fake mustaches, they dance to the song and try their best to act like males while Lewis talks about how hard it is to become a lady who's used to being surrounded by men.
"No matter how hard I try to be just one of the guys/ There's a little something inside that won't let me/ No matter how hard I try to have an open mind/ There's a little cop inside that prevents me," she sings the chorus.
"Just One of the Guys" was produced by Beck. The track is lifted from Lewis' next solo album "The Voyager" that's due out on July 29. The former Rilo Kiley frontwoman has said that the LP is the hardest one she's ever made as she recorded it following the death of her estranged father and the break-up of her band.
"This record was the hardest one I ever made," Lewis explained. " 'The Voyager' tells that story: the longest night of my life and the journey to finally getting some rest."
